Terms of Service
Effective November 1, 2026
These terms apply to your use of the Vectenza website and Studio (the "service"). By using the service you agree to them.
The service
Vectenza turns raster images into vector graphics. The service is new and still changing: features, limits and availability may change, and it may sometimes be unavailable.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure; you are responsible for what is done with your Vectenza account.
Free credits
Signed-in users get a free daily allowance of credits, shared by the Studio and the API, which resets every day at midnight UTC. Unused daily credits do not carry over. We may also give one-time bonus credits, for example to developer beta testers; they are used after the daily allowance and have no cash value. We may change the allowance. There are no paid plans at this time.
API keys
Keep your API keys secret and on your own servers. You are responsible for requests made with your keys; revoke a key on the Developers page if it may have leaked. We may revoke keys that are misused.
Your content
- You keep all rights to the images you upload and the vector files you create from them.
- You allow us to store and process your images only to provide the service to you.
- Only upload images you have the right to use. Do not upload anything illegal, or that infringes anyone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- get around credit limits, rate limits or other restrictions;
- send large numbers of automated requests other than through the API with your own key;
- share API keys, or use several accounts or keys to get more credits;
- interfere with the service or other users, or try to access data that isn't yours;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Results
Results are produced automatically and may not match your original exactly. Check them before you rely on them; how you use them is your responsibility.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the service.
Ending your use
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account through our contact page. We may stop offering the service, or suspend your access if you break these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above, and continuing to use the service means you accept the new terms.
